The 2012 Chocolate Festival will get underway on England"s south coast with two days of fun and festivities as part of the annual Brighton & Hove Food and Drink Festival on 17 and 18 March.

Visitors can head to New Road, opposite the Royal Pavilion, to stock up on tasty gifts and indulgences ahead of Easter.

The programme will then move to Broad Street in Oxford on 24 and 25 March, with master chocolatiers Damian Allsop and Paul Wayne Gregory showcasing their finest creations to enthusiastic crowds.

London will host two outings of the Chocolate Festival at the Southbank Centre to mark Easter (30 March-1 April) and Christmas (14-16 December) this year.

Programme highlights will include free tutored tastings, talks and demonstrations in the Chocolate Cookery Theatre organised by chef Valentina Harris.
