More flights on offer for Seychelles visitors by Cheap Flights Booker UK

Travellers planning luxury holidays in the Seychelles this year will be able to choose from a wider range of flights to the island nation.

Air Seychelles has announced details of a new route from Abu Dhabi to Mahe that will operate twice a week from 12 March.

Passengers will be carried on Boeing 767-300ER aircraft offering a total of 844 seats each week across two classes.

The news follows the confirmation that Etihad Airways has agreed to take a 40% stake in Air Seychelles, forming a strategic partnership between the two carriers.

Etihad itself provides four weekly links to Mahe, as well as regular flights to Abu Dhabi allowing travellers to connect to its routes throughout the Indian Ocean and other regions.

Cramer Ball, Air Seychelles" chief executive officer, said the Seychelles have become a "hugely popular" holiday destination for Etihad"s customers.

He added: "With these additional two Air Seychelles weekly flights, we look forward to successfully serving the route, tourism and business at each end."
