Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has launched a new partnership with event organiser Sixthman with the aim of improving its onboard entertainment.

The two companies will work together closely to develop and deliver new music experiences at sea.

Sixthman was founded in 2001 and has worked with the likes of Kiss, Kid Rock, John Mayer and Lynyrd Skynyrd, presenting shows on more than 43 full-ship charters over the past 11 years.

Kevin Sheehan, NCL"s chief executive officer, said the cruise line has been impressed with the range of events the company has produced and believes strongly in this "growing segment".

"Sixthman"s expertise and relationships will help us further extend our position as the leader in cruise ship entertainment," he added.
