New Jamie Oliver restaurant concept to be launched at Gatwick by Cheap Flights Booker UK

Travellers catching flights from London Gatwick this summer will be able to sample the cuisine available at a new dining complex being launched by Jamie Oliver.

Set to open in June, the area will include a "grab and graze" Italian-style bakery that was exclusively designed for the airport to provide high-quality food to be eaten on the go.

Passengers will also have the options of enjoying a sit-down meal in an Italian restaurant or paying a visit to Union Jacks, the celebrity chef"s latest concept, which will serve an all-British menu.

The new culinary offerings in the north terminal mark an exciting development within London Gatwick"s £1bn investment programme, said catering and services business manager Charlotte Christiansen.

"With 70% of departing passengers shopping, drinking or dining at Gatwick, we"ve worked closely with Jamie Oliver to create a concept that would appeal to all of our passenger groups," she added.

Oliver said the new area will be "something really special" and an exciting addition to the travel experience for the airport"s customers.
