Star Clippers Continues Art Themed Cruises
Star Clippers continues art-themed cruises by Cheap Flights Booker UK
Star Clippers has announced that it will continue a series of art-themed cruises this year following its successful introduction in 2011.
The company described the voyages as "the perfect chance" for travellers to learn to sketch and paint in "some of the world"s most stunning locations".
Three dedicated art cruises will be available with the tall-ship operator this year, starting with a seven-night round-trip to the northern Cyclades islands departing from Athens on 5 May, with calls at Kusadasi in Turkey and several Greek isles included.
Star Clippers will also be sailing to ports in Spain and Morocco on the 170-passenger Star Flyer, departing from Malaga on 6 October and calling at Casablanca, Tangier, Gibraltar, Cadiz for Seville and Motril for Granada.
The range is completed by a seven-night round-trip from Barbados to the Windward Islands onboard the 228-passenger Royal Clipper, which will set sail on 7 December and take passengers to destinations including St Lucia, Antigua, St Kitts and Martinique.
All three cruises will be led by Suffolk-born artist Richard Nichols and will include sketchbooks, paper, watercolour paints, brushes and other provisions for guests.
