Travellers asked to list Germany"s must-see attractions by Cheap Flights Booker UK

Travellers who have visited Germany are being asked to share their thoughts regarding the country"s best experiences as part of an initiative to find its top 100 "must-see" attractions.

The German National Tourist Board (GNTB) will incorporate the results of its survey into a smartphone application that will be released for Apple and Android devices this summer.

Available on the GNTB"s official website and international Facebook pages until 15 March, the online poll consists of just two questions that should take no more than five minutes to answer.

Petra Hedorfer, the tourist board"s chief executive officer, said: "Interaction with our customers strengthens our marketing initiatives and puts into focus how people around the world perceive Germany as a travel destination."

Attractions that could make it into the top 100 include the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, the City Museum of Munich and the striking Gothic cathedral located in the centre of Cologne.
