Â4m Project To Promote Adventure Tourism In Wales
Â4m project to promote adventure tourism in Wales by Cheap Flights Booker UK
Hotels in Wales could prove increasingly popular among people with a passion for outdoor fun and activities as a result of a £4m project to develop south Snowdonia as an adventure tourism centre.
Businesses based in the region are being invited to a series of events to launch the Snowdonia - One Big Adventure project, which will show local firms how they can maximise their appeal and offer unique experiences to visitors.
John Wynn Jones, economy and community portfolio leader for Gwynedd Council, said all sorts of companies - from local retailers to accommodation providers - are welcome to find out more about getting involved with the initiative.
He added: "Tourists and day visitors are always looking for ways to enhance their experience and if local businesses can provide that then it"s a win for all involved."
There are many activities and experiences on offer in Snowdonia and other parts of north Wales, from cycling and hiking to watersports on Llyn Tegid, the country"s largest natural lake.
