AmaWaterways announces new ships and itineraries by Cheap Flights Booker UK
Luxury river cruise line AmaWaterways will expand its operations in 2013 with the launch of two new vessels and the introduction of four new itineraries in France, Spain and Portugal.
The ship AmaVida will debut on the Douro river in March next year and will serve two new routes in Spain and Portugal, taking guests to destinations such as Lisbon, Porto and Salamanca.
Passengers will also be able to make use of onboard amenities including a sundeck swimming pool, a fitness centre and a spa.
Also set to join the AmaWaterways fleet is the AmaPrima, which will be launched in April 2013.
This 164-guest vessel is the sister ship to AmaCerto - which debuts in April this year - and boasts staterooms with balconies, 42-inch flat-screen televisions and complimentary Wi-Fi, a heated swimming pool, fine dining venues and other features.
Rudi Schreiner, founder of AmaWaterways, claimed that the overall quality of river cruising is changing.
"AmaWaterways continues to lead the industry by adding two new ships that feature spacious cabins, gourmet fine dining and unforgettable tour excursions that immerse travellers in the local culture and history," he added.
