Bristol airport to improve food and drink offerings by Cheap Flights Booker UK
Travellers catching flights from Bristol airport could soon see the benefit of a project to improve "ambience, accessibility and comfort" by enhancing bars and restaurants at the base.
More than £150,000 is set to be invested in initiatives including the renovation of the airport terminal"s table service restaurant Dexters, which will boast new furniture and lighting, as well as a ten-minute waiting time guarantee on selected items.
Bar Zero9, the largest bar at Bristol airport, will be equipped with new features including distinct eating and drinking areas to create a welcoming environment for all diners and a "fan zone" featuring plasma televisions for use during major sports events.
Improvements are also planned for the popular Burger King eatery in the departures area, while the Seafood Bar will be rebranded as the Wine & Deli Bar.
Tom Hack, retail manager at the base, said: "Families heading off on holiday this summer will be able to enjoy a wider range of food and drink options when waiting to board their flights."
Bristol is served by major airlines including KLM, easyJet, Aer Lingus and Air France.
