Qatar Airways introduces new Boeing 787 seats by Cheap Flights Booker UK

Qatar Airways this week unveiled new business and economy class seats set to be introduced onboard the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, which will join the airline"s fleet this summer.

Each seat will feature touchscreen Android control units making their debut on the new aircraft, which will enable passengers to navigate through an entertainment system offering more than 1,000 movies, television programmes, music tracks and more.

The economy cabin will offer Recaro-produced seats with seven inches of recline space and 10.6-inch seat-back television screens.

In business class, passengers will be accommodated in a 22-inch-wide armchair that can be moved into different positions and converted into a flat bed, with personal storage space and 17-inch touchscreen monitors.

Qatar Airways" new 787 Dreamliners will provide a total of 232 seats in economy and 22 seats in the business cabin.

Speaking at the ITB Berlin travel show, the airline"s chief executive officer Akbar Al Baker said: "Space, comfort and ensuring our passengers have the best onboard entertainment options are key elements of our new Boeing 787s, promising to set new benchmarks in air travel."
