Loch Ness and Inverness in northern Scotland could prove popular among music fans this summer, with a number of festivals and live events set to take place in and around the destinations.
Highlights to look out for include Rock Ness, which will be held on the shores of the famous loch for three days from 8 to 10 June.

This event, which is described by local tourism agency Destination Loch Ness as "family-friendly and eco-conscious", is based in a scenic location just outside Beauly.
Travellers interested in exploring modern Scottish culture can catch flights to Inverness to check out the Northern Roots Festival at Bogbain Farm from 1 to 3 June.
A lineup of folk, roots and country acts including Blazin" Fiddles and the Groanbox Boys will provide entertainment at this event.
