EVA Air to launch two more Hello Kitty jets by Cheap Flights Booker UK
EVA Air is set to make over two more of its planes with a design inspired by Hello Kitty, the popular children"s character created by Japanese company Sanrio.
The renovation of the Airbus 330-200s - which are due to enter service with their new looks on 23 May and 22 June - will boost the carrier"s Hello Kitty-themed fleet from three to five aircraft.
Furthermore, EVA Air announced that it will be serving two more destinations with these planes from next month.
The distinctive jets will be deployed on flights from Songshan airport in the airline"s home city of Taipei to Tokyo Haneda and Shanghai Hongqiao.
Locations already served by the Hello Kitty aircraft include Hong Kong, Fukuoka and Hokkaido in Japan and Seoul Incheon airport in South Korea.
Travellers can connect to EVA Air"s network of destinations in Asia via one of the airline"s daily flights to Taipei Taoyuan from London Heathrow.
