Epic kayak journey to showcase New York by Cheap Flights Booker UK

Some of the sights and scenery on offer in the state of New York will be showcased during a 500-mile kayak journey through the region due to begin on 1 May.

Adventurers Richard Harpham and Glenn Charles will begin their challenge at Niagara Falls and head from Buffalo to Albany along the Erie Canal before joining the River Hudson.

The trip will end with the pair passing the Statue of Liberty as they arrive in the New York City borough of Manhattan.

Mr Harpham, a British adventurer whose previous expeditions include kayaking the Inside Passage from Seattle to Alaska and cycling from London to Marrakech, said one of the aims of this year"s voyage is to encourage people to explore possibilities for adventure in their lives.

"It will also be a fantastic journey across some of New York State"s most beautiful scenery and both Glenn and I are looking forward to the challenge," he added.
