"Many surf schools are located in Ericeira, especially in the Ribeira d"Ilhas beach, where adults and children from all ages enjoy surf classes," he noted.

The Algarve is also a possible destination for tourists keen to enjoy the Atlantic Ocean, with sailing one of the most popular activities along the region"s famous coastline.
