Live music coming to Tenerife by Cheap Flights Booker UK

Tenerife could prove a popular holiday destination among music fans this year, with a series of live events set to take place on the island over the coming months.

A host of big names will be heading to the destination for the first-ever Rock Coast Festival, which will be held in Santa Cruz from 24 to 26 May.

The Smashing Pumpkins and Fatboy Slim are among the headline acts confirmed for the event, while the likes of Orbital, Cypress Hill, Iggy & the Stooges and Evanescence will also be playing.

Santa Cruz, Tenerife"s capital city, will also welcome music fans on 30 June this year when Sting plays his inaugural concert in the destination and his second show in the Canary Islands.

The gig is part of the singer"s Back to Bass world tour, which celebrates his 25 years as a solo artist.

People planning a winter holiday in Tenerife could arrange their trip to coincide with a run of the Cirque du Soleil show Happiness at the Pavilion Insular Santiago Martin in Santa Cruz from 13 to 20 January 2013.
