American Airlines Upgrading International Aircraft
American Airlines upgrading international aircraft by Cheap Flights Booker UK
Travellers catching international flights with American Airlines could soon benefit from a number of improvements being made to the carrier"s wide-body fleet.
The company announced several planned changes as part of its fleet modernisation plan, including the installation of lie-flat business class seats on all of its Boeing 777-200ER long-range planes.
All business seats will offer aisle access on these aircraft, while international wireless internet access, in-seat entertainment across all cabins and Main Cabin Extra seating with extra leg room will also be made available.
Lie-flat beds in business class and the Main Cabin Extra service will also be introduced onboard American Airlines" 767-300ER liners.
Virasb Vahidi, the carrier"s chief commercial officer, said the redesign will "comprehensively improve" the international wide-body flight experience for future passengers.
"Our decision to invest in our international wide-body aircraft demonstrates significant forward progress, consistent with our plan, and paints a picture of the future for our customers and people," he added.
American Airlines will also boost its domestic network this summer with the launch of new flights to Seattle from Miami.
