Heathrow Express unveils new fleet by Cheap Flights Booker UK

Travellers making their way to the airport with rail operator Heathrow Express this year could be transported on one of the company"s fully refurbished trains, which were unveiled this week.

The fleet renewal is part of a £16m investment in the brand that will see all trains undergo a complete refit inside and out.

Space, privacy and proximity to luggage are the priorities in the new Heathrow Express First Class carriage, which is reportedly the only train car in the country to offer single seating throughout.

In Express Class, passengers will see the benefit of a revised interior seating layout, more natural light and power sockets, among other features.

Toilet areas have also been upgraded and are now entirely touch-free, with amenities including baby changing tables.

Company spokesman Keith Greenfield said: "Heathrow Express is already the fastest and most reliable way to travel to the airport.

"Our new fleet will ensure that our customers receive the most relaxing and convenient travel experience possible."

People heading from central London to Heathrow to catch flights with British Airways and other carriers based at the hub can take trains from Paddington station.
