Monarch announces first scheduled ski flights by Cheap Flights Booker UK
Monarch Airlines has announced that it will launch its first programme of scheduled flights to ski holiday destinations during the winter 2012-13 season.
The carrier will introduce a total of 12 routes in the period, including its first scheduled services from Leeds Bradford Airport.
Ten of the new connections will provide access to ski resorts across Europe via Munich and Friedrichshafen in Germany and Grenoble in France.
Monarch will also launch flights to Milan, Venice and Verona in northern Italy, providing options for travellers heading to the southern Alps and the Dolomites.
In addition to the new offerings for skiers and snowboarders, the airline"s winter 2012-13 schedule will cater for sun seekers with routes to Madeira and Sharm el Sheikh.
Managing director Kevin George said the forthcoming launches will mark the beginning of an exciting new era for Monarch.
Commenting on the introduction of services from Leeds Bradford, Mr George added: "We are delighted to be able to bring our high levels of care and service to customers travelling from West Yorkshire in the future."
