New hotels opening in Central America by Cheap Flights Booker UK

The Central America Tourism Agency has highlighted some of the hotel openings set to boost the region"s accommodation offering over the coming years, with Hilton Worldwide among the companies with new developments in this part of the world.

Due to open in August 2012, Hilton"s Panamera is the first Waldorf Astoria property in Panama.

It will accommodate guests in 130 rooms and 120 apartments.

The country also saw the recent opening of Hard Rock"s Hotel Panama Megalopolis in Panama City, which occupies a 66-storey tower and features 1,463 rooms and suites.

Hard Rock"s first property in Latin America also has amenities including eight restaurants and bars, a large swimming pool and the Rock Spa.

Currently under development in Honduras is Los Micos Beach and Golf Resort, which is due to open on Tela Bay by summer 2013.

As well as making the most of on-site facilities including an 18-hole golf course designed by Gary Player and a spa, guests will be able to experience some of the ecotourism activities available in the area.
