Despicable Me Minion Mayhem set to open at Universal Orlando Resort by Cheap Flights Booker UK

A new "blockbuster" ride will officially open at Universal Orlando Resort in Florida at the start of next month.

Despicable Me Minion Mayhem is set to launch at Universal Studios Florida on 2 July and promises to combine the popular characters and memorable humour of the film Despicable Me with an all-new storyline.

Presented using the latest 3D technology, the ride will see visitors transformed into minions and train to become part of Gru"s army of helpers.

"After picking up 3D "minion goggles" ... and being scanned for "human germs" in the Minionization Prep Room, guests board Minion Transformation Pods to begin their training," the attraction explained.

The ride culminates with a minion dance party that will give guests the opportunity to show off their best moves.

Tickets offering entry to Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure are priced at £103 for adults and £93 for children between three and nine years old.
