Luxury Travel Not Affected By Recession
Luxury travel "not affected by recession" by Cheap Flights Booker UK
The luxury travel sector has continued to perform well recently despite the recession and economic crisis, an expert has claimed.
Sarah Woods, award-winning writer and travel presenter on the Alan Titchmarsh Show, said consumers are still determined to take "once in a lifetime" trips and are not afraid to seek out experiences that could be challenging.
"The luxury end hasn"t really been affected by the recession - people are still spending money on travel and are refusing to compromise on their dreams," she commented.
Ms Woods offered some examples of holidays that allow people to achieve lifetime ambitions, such as driving along Route 66 in the United States and visiting the Great Barrier Reef off the coast of north-east Australia.
Another experience that is still proving popular, according to the presenter, is taking in the spectacle of Niagara Falls, which holidaymakers can visit during a stay in Toronto or New York.
