Travellers catching flights from Birmingham Airport this summer will have the opportunity to dine at the base"s newest eatery - the Meriden Bar and Restaurant.

It serves a menu featuring a range of products from regional suppliers and a selection of local cask ales.
There is also an airside balcony for smokers and a flight screen providing information about forthcoming departures.
Birmingham Airport chief executive Paul Kehoe said: "The Meriden Bar fits perfectly into our overall food and beverage range and provides further choice for our passengers travelling through the airport."
The eatery is operated by Select Service Partner, which also offers M&S Simply Food, Burger King, Upper Crust and Soho outlets on-site, as well as the Blanc et Noir champagne bar.
Air France, Emirates and Monarch Airlines are among the carriers based at Birmingham, offering flights to Paris, Dubai, Rome and other destinations.
