Singapore Airlines to add fourth daily flight from London Heathrow by Cheap Flights Booker UK
Travellers heading to Asia will be able to choose from four daily flights to Singapore from London Heathrow with Singapore Airlines later this year.
The carrier currently offers three services per day to its home destination from the London hub, all of which are operated by Airbus A380s.
A Boeing 777-300 long-range aircraft will be deployed on the additional daily connection from October this year, offering late-night departures from Singapore and the airline"s latest cabin products.
Frequency will rise progressively, increasing from 21 to 25 flights a week from 9 September, before the full complement of 28 weekly services is introduced on 21 October.
Mak Swee Wah, Singapore Airlines" executive vice president of commercial operations, said: "We have been looking for opportunities to increase our London flights for many years and are pleased that we can now do so, to provide even more travel options to our customers."
He also noted that travellers coming from London will have more options to connect to the carrier"s network of destinations in Asia and the Pacific, which includes Sydney, Auckland and Tokyo.
