United Airlines launches Dublin to Washington service by Cheap Flights Booker UK

Travellers interested in visiting the United States" capital city can now catch flights to Washington Dulles Airport from Dublin with United Airlines.

The carrier recently welcomed government officials from Ireland and other guests to its Dulles hub to celebrate the launch of the new non-stop service, which will operate every day.

Passengers will be carried on Boeing 757-200 aircraft offering 169 seats - 16 in business class, 153 in economy and 45 in United"s Economy Plus cabin, which provides more leg room and personal space.

HE Michael Collins, Ireland"s ambassador to the US, said: "United"s new non-stop service from Washington to Dublin is a significant development in helping draw people in Ireland and the United States closer together, whether for business, leisure travel or both."

Sharon Pierce, the airline"s director of sales for Washington, said it was "delighted" to be able to connect two "vibrant" capital cities.

United serves more than 30 international airports from Dulles Airport, including locations in Europe, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean.

In May, it launched new routes linking the American capital to Manchester and Doha.
