United Airlines offers new premium dining options by Cheap Flights Booker UK
Business and first class passengers catching long-haul international flights with United Airlines can now sample some of the carrier"s new menu options.
On 1 June, the company made a number of changes to the range of foods available to Global First passengers, who receive a six-course meal including an appetiser, soup, salad with gourmet breads, entrees, cheese, fruit and a dessert, while BusinessFirst customers will be served five courses.
All meals in the premium cabins conclude with ice cream sundaes, liqueurs, port wine and fresh coffee.
There will also be a regional theme to the food served on some of United Airlines" flights, with sushi appetisers and Japanese dishes available on services to and from Tokyo and Osaka.
Introducing the changes, Sandra Pineau-Boddison, vice president of food services for the carrier, said: "Our goal is to deliver a better and more consistent experience for our customers, while offering greater variety and choice."
The new culinary options are the result of tasting sessions and consultations with customers and a congress of chefs.
