BA Boosts Caribbean Network
BA boosts Caribbean network by Cheap Flights Booker UK
British Airways has announced that it will launch new flights from London Gatwick to Montego Bay in Jamaica and Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic this year.
The new twice-weekly services will get underway on 25 October as part of the airline"s winter network.
BA reportedly offers more flights to the Caribbean than any other UK carrier, a position that will be strengthened this year by the launch of extra services to three other destinations.
Frequency to both St Lucia and Trinidad will be increased from three to five flights a week from Gatwick, while Barbados will be served by ten weekly services.
Richard Tams, BA"s head of UK and Ireland sales, said: "These new routes and increased frequencies underline our commitment to the Caribbean.
"It"s a popular destination with our customers and it"s due to demand that we"re increasing the number of flights to the region."
Other Caribbean locations served by BA include Antigua, St Kitts, Grenada and Kingston.
