EasyBus To The Rescue At London Gatwick
EasyBus "to the rescue" at London Gatwick by Cheap Flights Booker UK
Airport coach operator easyBus has claimed that it will be coming "to the rescue" at London Gatwick over the next seven months as it will provide the only direct public transport link between the airport"s north terminal and London.
Gatwick"s terminal rail link will be out of service "well into the summer of 2010", easyBus claimed, as a major overhaul is carried out.
The coach operator also pointed out that connection times of 20 minutes are being quoted for the replacement bus service to the south terminal, so there will be "no real time disadvantage" for passengers who opt to take the easyBus.
A new inter-terminal transit system is being installed at London Gatwick as part of the airport"s £1bn investment programme.
Other companies such as National Express and Airport by Coach provide transport links to Gatwick, connecting the airport to more than 400 UK towns and operating direct services to destinations including Bristol, Birmingham and Oxford.
