Qantas wine selection scoops award by Cheap Flights Booker UK

Qantas has won four industry awards for the selection of wine the company offers on its flights.

The Australian carrier scooped prizes for Best First Class Cellar, Best First Class Red, Best First Class Fortified and Sweet and Best Presented Wine List in the annual Cellar in the Sky Awards.

In addition, Qantas came in as first runner-up in two more categories, namely Best Business Class Sparkling and Best First Class Sparkling.

Lesley Grant of Qantas Group"s executive customer and marketing division explained that the recognition comes from "strong" feedback from fliers.

"Over the years, Qantas has built up one of Australia"s most enviable cellars, enabling it to choose from a range of premium wines to match Neil Perry"s menus on both domestic and international flights," she added.

The Cellar in the Sky Awards were organised by Business Traveller magazine in association with industry publication Wine International.
