It is regularly visited by Buddhist worshippers, as well as sightseers who gather in the streets around the temple.

For people planning some adventurous activities during their travels this year, the Korea Tourism Organisation recommended a trip to the Hanshin valley near the Jirisan mountain.
The area is home to thousands of different types of flora, as well as wildlife including wildcats, elk and hares.
Travellers can reach South Korea by taking flights to Seoul, its capital city, with carriers such as Korean Air, Emirates and Qatar Airways.
