Leeds Bradford Airport to improve services for disabled passengers by Cheap Flights Booker UK

Disabled travellers are to enjoy improved facilities and services at Leeds-Bradford Airport, it has been announced.

Over the past couple of years, the Yorkshire airport has started to firmly establish itself on the European aviation map, due largely to the arrival of several budget airlines offering cheap flights to Barcelona and numerous other holiday destinations.

However, according to a recent investigation carried out by the Yorkshire Evening Post, when it comes to catering for less-able passengers, the airport could do better, with bosses now pledging to put this right.

In particular, airport staff are to give extra help to passengers who need assistance travelling around the terminal buildings and getting onto their flights.

Speaking to the newspaper, airport commercial and aviation development director Tony Hallwood said: "We wish to sincerely apologise to passengers with restricted mobility who recently have not received the normal high level of service on arrival at the airport."

Alongside summer sun destinations, flights to Geneva and several Scottish cities are also available from Leeds-Bradford Airport.
