BA To Host Stand Up Comedy Show In The Sky
BA to host stand-up comedy show in the sky by Cheap Flights Booker UK
British Airways is attempting to set a new world record for the highest stand-up comedy gig ever staged as part of an initiative to raise money for Comic Relief.
The airline will play host to popular comics Dara O"Briain, Jack Whitehall and Jon Richardson for the show, which will take place on 12 March during a dedicated Airbus A321 flight over the UK from London Heathrow.
During the two-and-a-half hour journey, 180 passengers will be provided with champagne and refreshments to enjoy while watching the comedians perform.
The event is part of BA"s Flying Start partnership with Comic Relief, which aims to raise money to help disadvantaged children in the UK and around the world.
Commenting on the forthcoming show, O"Briain said: "I"ve performed in some unusual places, but never at 35,000ft! I"m really excited to be involved in this unique event and raise money for Comic Relief."
To be in with a chance of winning one of 75 pairs of tickets for the event, comedy fans can visit BA"s Facebook page or text "Fly1" to 70300.
