Etihad offering more Manchester to Abu Dhabi flights by Cheap Flights Booker UK

UK travellers will soon have a wider range of services to choose from if they are planning a trip to the Middle East this year.

Etihad Airways has announced that it will double the frequency of its flights from Manchester to Abu Dhabi from seven to 14 weekly connections from 1 August.

Earlier this year, the airline revealed that it would be expanding its schedule to ten services per week but decided to go ahead with the second increase to meet demand.

James Hogan, Etihad"s chief executive officer, said the Manchester to Abu Dhabi route has been a "key part" of its network for the past five years.

"The frequency increase illustrates how Etihad has firmly established itself in the north-west of England and that we are now the airline of choice for business and leisure travellers, whether flying to Abu Dhabi or transferring through to destinations in the east, such as Australia, Thailand and Japan," he added.

In November last year, the airline opened a new lounge at Manchester airport to cater for business and first class passengers.
