Menorca "fun bus" promotion targeting UK travellers by Cheap Flights Booker UK

UK holidaymakers could be more interested in arranging a trip to the island of Menorca this year as a result of an initiative launched by the local tourist board.

A "fun bus" specially designed to bring some Mediterranean sunshine to Britain is currently on a tour of cities across the UK.

It has already visited Glasgow, Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester and Liverpool and will come to Birmingham city centre on 9 and 10 March.

The bus will finish its promotional tour with trips to Bristol city centre (11 March) and the Bluewater shopping complex in Kent (12 and 13 March).

As well as a bright trailer showcasing some of the scenery on offer to holidaymakers visiting Menorca, the bespoke vehicle features entertainers, jugglers and mascots representing the destination.

Visitors can also pick up goodie bags, sample regional cuisine and try some of the island"s traditional drink, "pomada".

Local hoteliers are also taking part in the tour to highlight some of the accommodation options on offer to travellers visiting Menorca.
