BA offers mobile boarding for Windows Phone 7 users by Cheap Flights Booker UK

British Airways has become the first airline to offer a mobile boarding option to Windows Phone 7 users.

The airline has teamed up with Microsoft to launch a new application that provides access to specific information about the customer"s forthcoming flights and offers real-time updates throughout the journey.

BA passengers will also have the option to check-in using their mobile device, download electronic boarding passes and view terminal maps to find their way around airports across the globe.

The tool puts Windows Phone 7 users "in charge of their travel experience with British Airways like never before", said Richard Bowden, the airline"s digital marketing innovation manager.

He added: "The app has been built with the customer at heart, to give them more freedom and convenience.

"Our partnership with Microsoft ensures British Airways is the only UK airline to provide app access across a greater range of mobile platforms and underscores our commitment to constant innovation and improvement."

The application is available now on the Windows Phone Marketplace.

All British Airways passengers can take advantage of mobile boarding by signing up to the carrier"s Executive Club, which is free to join.
