London festival to highlight Poland by Cheap Flights Booker UK

Britons planning to visit the Mayor"s Thames Festival in London this year will be able to find out more about some of the experiences on offer in Poland.

The Polish National Tourist Office (PNTO) announced that it would be erecting five marquees on the South Bank, next to the Royal Festival Hall.

Visitors will be able to play a virtual football game - promoting the country"s co-hosting of the Euro 2012 football tournament - sample regional foods and discover the best attractions on offer in the Warmia and Masuria provinces.

Other sights on offer at the festival will include fire-eating shows, displays of amber jewellery products and a demonstration of the workings of a blacksmith"s forge.

Bogdan Becla, the PNTO"s acting director, said: "Poland is a modern, dynamically developing country which is open to tourists and one of the hosts of the forthcoming Euro 2012 Championships.

"We invite everyone to visit us on the South Bank during the Thames Festival to see what Poland has to offer with regard to cultures, customs, traditions and interesting landscapes."

The event will take place between Westminster and Tower bridges on 10 and 11 September and will also include live music, carnival processions, fireworks and more.
