EasyJet to launch Birmingham to Belfast route by Cheap Flights Booker UK

Travellers will this year have the opportunity to catch flights to Belfast from Birmingham Airport with easyJet.

The airline has announced a new service that will operate daily from 22 October, before increasing to two connections a day during the week and one on Saturdays and Sundays.

EasyJet said the route reinforces its commitment to Northern Ireland, with a total of 23 destinations now accessible from Belfast International Airport.

The launch will also see the low-cost carrier operating year-round flights from Birmingham for the first time.

Commercial manager Ali Gayward noted that the airline has already introduced services from Northern Ireland to Manchester and London Southend in the past year.

"Additionally, we will, for the first time, be flying an Airbus 320 aircraft (180 seats) from Belfast to leading holiday sun spots during the peak summer period," she added.

Ms Gayward also highlighted some of the attractions on offer to travellers catching flights to Birmingham, such as William Shakespeare"s birthplace in Stratford-upon-Avon.
