Flybe boosts Dublin flights for Six Nations clash by Cheap Flights Booker UK
Flybe has increased capacity on its route from Southampton to Dublin to meet demand from rugby fans heading to the city for a Six Nations match between Ireland and England.
The regional carrier will be replacing the 78-seat Bombardier Q400 planes usually used on the route with 118-seat Embraer 195 jets on several flights.
An additional return service has also been scheduled from Dublin on 20 March, providing an extra option for travellers flying back to Southampton after the game.
Ireland will host England at the new Aviva Stadium in the sides" final match in the 2011 Six Nation series on 19 March.
Mike Rutter, Flybe"s chief commercial officer, said: "By having the ability to add an extra flight and substituting larger aircraft on others, we have been able to increase our capacity by up to 85%.
"This ensures that no fans are disappointed by not being able to make it to the match in person to cheer whichever of the two teams they support."
Rugby fans will also be heading to Paris on 19 March to see Wales take on France.
